Our new Picture of the Month is of the beautifull "Ski Lodge Roof House" in Daggett, California. According to the Daggett History Tour, it "opened in 1926 as a visitor's information center and gas station. In the late 1930's it became the home of the Mojave Desert's 'Poet Laureate' Alice Richards Salisbury."
