Whiting Brothers 2; 1999![]() Whiting Brothers was an important truckstop chain along Route 66 in the west. All that remains today are weathering signs, boarded up stations and burned out motels. (Rumor has it that one station may still be operating.) This particular sign near San Fidel defies sun, wind and blowing sand but its companion motel (across Route 66 in the background) fell to another element - fire. Five standard image sizes are available - other sizes available by request 10x12 inches on 14x16 inch paper, framed or unframed 15x18 inches on 19x24 inch paper, framed or unframed 20x24 inches on 24x30 inch paper, framed or unframed 28x35 inches on 36x44 inch paper, framed or unframed 40x50 inches on 44x55 inch paper, framed or unframed Send price request to: david@davidbarnettgallery.com
