Road Runner drive-in; 1999

A sign on the street (formerly Route 66) proclaims this to be the "Road Runner Drive In." I am attracted to the subject not only by its state of disrepair but also by its combination of paint colors - salmon and turquoise. By the way, what's with the five gallon pails in front of business doors? Thus far I have photographed three buildings on Route 66 which exhibit these containers.
