Burned Sign; 1980
All that remains to remind one of a former Route 66 enterprise is this burned sign, photographed in 1980 near Texola, Oklahoma. I happened upon it a second time in 2002, and although the trees are larger, the sign looks quite unchanged - and as before, quite unreadable
