Bill's Station closeup; 1980

In 1980 I made my first photograph of "Bill's Station", located on Route 66 in Phelps, Missouri. Apparently fairly recently abandoned, it appeared clean and neat. Photographs made 21 years later (2001) revealed the deterioration of a generation of neglect. (See other "Bill's Station" photos on the Missouri home picture page.)
