Spencer, Missouri, 1980

A small cluster of buildings - really, one building - formed the business district of the former Spencer, Missouri, and was all but abandoned by 1980, when this picture was taken.In 2000, when I returned for a comparison shot I was told by the property owner that the complex housed a gas station, cafe, grocery store and mercantile store in its heydey.
