A fading Selz Royal Blue Shoes advertisement clings to this downtown Chenoa, Illinois building. I made an internet inquiry and found only a listing in the 1905 "Grand Rapids" city directory. The shoe on the yellow background uses the phrase "The Sole of Honor." I noted the prices shown were "$3.50 & $4.00."
